Featured Employee of the Month: Maranda Scott

"Maranda Scott has the ability to connect with our Varietas residents and families, and allows families to go home after visiting and be able to trust their loved one is getting the best care around." Kathy Jones, Executive Director, Traditions at Hunter Station.

Maranda Scott is the Memory Care Activities Assistant/QMA at Traditions at Hunter Station. She has worked at Traditions for seven years. A native of New Albany, Indiana, Maranda has three siblings and eight nieces and nephews.

Maranda really enjoys working in memory care at Traditions at Hunter Station. "I love coming in and seeing our memory care residents and them knowing who I am. And I love making them laugh every day," she said. She's become such a fixture of Hunter Station that one resident refers to Maranda as her best friend. "This is my second home, and I can't see myself without my residents and coworkers," Maranda said.

On her days off, Maranda enjoys spending time with her family and my two fur babies.
